Two Ways To Feel Good: Give and Take

F&M was happy to contribute to two unique projects this winter: a CD compilation to raise funds for cancer research, and a local happening in Edmonton called The Free Store – who’s aim it is to spread the good feeling of free and share locally made merchandise  - FREE! So why not give,  and then take something free as well!

1. GIVE:

Amazing CD Compilation Raising Funds for Cancer Research and Awareness:

When Kevin Thorne decided to tell others how early screening had helped him to escape death from prostate cancer, he didn’t realise that his message would resonate so strongly with more than 100 Canadian and international recording artists. The story of Thorne’s prostate cancer screening campaign and his Amazing music project is presented on his web site, www.amazingcomp.ca. Thorne has made arrangements for the proceeds from all sales of Amazing to be shared by the Canadian Cancer Society for prostate cancer research and awareness; and the Bluewater Health Cancer Care Assessment & Treatment Centre, to assist with their promotion of prostate cancer screening.

Just $10 ! 121 songs from 111 artists (including Great Lake Swimmers, Bob Egan (of Blue Rodeo), and F&M)
Over 8 hours of incredible music of all genres.
